Sunshine Friends: Good or Bad?

A little bit of sunshine, a little bit of rain

I remember one Sunday, the pastor asked the congregation whether or not we have “sunshine friends.” You know the friend who always tells you the good about yourself but never tells you what you’ve done wrong or how you could have done something differently? I asked myself whether I was that “sunshine friend.” How do you tell a good friend about a character flaw or a misstep? I think it is easier said than done and can be quite challenging.
